I have a question about the Veronica Mars premiere party at Hollywood Theater. Is it definitely happening? If so, when will it start and how much will it cost ( Read more... )

It is indeed definitely going to happen. It goes from 8:30-10:30 on Tueday, Oct. 3rd. We are asking for donations of $5 to pay for theatre rental, and would really appreciate that, but don't not come because you can't pay it. The actual episode shows from 9-10 PM so anytime you can come would be great. I will go advertise at damnportlanders, thanks for the suggestion!

Thanks. I'm glad it's really happening. We'll be trying to get out of there right after the episode so we can catch the second half of Buffy Night. It'll be tricky but not impossible.

It's times like these when you get to thinking "Is it really *impossible* to be in two places at once?" What is Buffy night, and where, by the way? I would love to go to that sometime too.

Mission Theater in NW Portland started showing Buffy on a weekly basis a few months ago, three episodes a night starting from the first episode. At first they were only going to show the first two seasons, but it's been so popular that they decided to run the entire series. Last night they showed the season 3 episodes, "Helpless," "The Zeppo," and "Bad Girls."

Well, I was talking to my parents about it and over the summer I got them hooked on Veronica Mars when I bought the DVDs and they want to come to the premier! Hee.
