(no subject)
Wow. It's really been ages since I've updated. I'm happy at the moment because I just found out that school starts again on the third, not the second, and I already have most of my homework done. I still have a bunch of new DVDs to watch and there's the slim possibility that I can get a ride to a bookstore to spend one of my gift cards. If not, I can make a dent in my pile of new, unread books. Best of all, the new season of Rome is coming out in only a couple of weeks!! And they've kept the same actor to play Octavian!! I've been having trouble thinking of anything else.
Luke and Mary are going back to Pittsburgh tomorrow. On one hand, it's kind of nice to be an only child, but on the other, it gets a bit lonely and I'll really miss Mary... However, we can keep up via e-mail and we can actually start updating our journals on a regular basis. And we just have to wait until February to see each other in person again. I'll also be able to keep my mind off things by walking dogs at the local pound every week, starting this Friday. Plus, it seems likely that soon John will agree to let us get a new dog! I know that Mom really wants something small, like a Shizu, but I'm still hoping that she'll fall in love with a Rottweiler.
