Prayers... please
We have had a lot of things going on in my family lately, and I am still reeling from the events...
My mom...
My mom's sister Mary Candace "Candy" is in her last days. Candy has Down's Syndrome and was diagnosed with Alzheimers a few years ago. She is the angel of my mom's family and this has been excrutiating for my mom. They are not really expecting her to last the weekend. My grandfather has signed a DNR for her and Hospice has been brought into the home where she is living in Old Saybrook. This is absolutely killing my mom and her sisters. None of them know what will happen from one day to the next and losing Candy is going to be a HUGE blow to the family.

My husband Ronnie...
Ron's stepmother, Debbie, has been battling several different forms of cancer since we have been together (almost 7 years). The latest was attacking her stomach and intestines. We were informed on Wednesday that she went into surgery to repair a blockage and to try to remove some of the cancer... They closed her up after removing the blockage and said there was nothing else that could be done. She is being sent home with Hospice and they are not really expecting her to last much longer.

To say this has been a really hard week has got to be one of the largest understatements I have ever known. If you could keep my mom and her family as well as Ron and his father in your prayers, I would really appreciate it. I am hoping to go to church on Sunday to be with my church family as I could use that support right now.
