Summer classes done... life begins
Wow, it's been a VERY long time since I last posted. Maybe I should post more often. Eh, we'll see. Anyway boys and girls, how's life been treating you? Good I hope. Mine as of late has been a roller coaster ride, but not too bad. At least I'm finally done with summer classes. I now have a month to sit around, play guitar, sleep in, and work. I got to see my first ska show last week. Scotty, Rick Amelio, one of Scotty's friends (damn, forgot his name), and I all went down to the House of Blues in New Orleans to see my favorite ska band Reel Big Fish. Holy God, what a great show. Catch 22, Rx Bandits, and Lucky Boys Confusion were there as well, but of course the headliner was Reel Big Fish. I've been on a ska eating frenzy as of late. I'll have to talk to Jon about really getting this band going, because I'm dying to get back up on stage.
In other news, we have a comedian coming on the second day of orientation, and I still haven't decided whether or not I'm opening up for him. I'm pretty sure Blake is, but as for me, who knows. What do you guys think? Should I have turn number 2 at stand up? It went well the first time.
Oh well, let me know. USA people, come back soon.... I miss you all and I'm bored. Where's Nick to kick the crap out of me and make scream like a girl? Where's Jon who screams like a girl when Nick assaults him as well? Where's Angelina to brighten my day with her stories and randomness? Where's Blake with his horribly bad dea baby jokes that make everyone around him want to cry? I miss you all... come back to me!!!
