So yeah, Christmas was Ace. I was spoilt rotten. The best present by far was the day trip I was taken on on the 28th. I know this explaination won't nearly do it the justice it deserves but I'll do my best. Chris took me away to Heningsbury Head by Bournmouth/Christchurch which is a place he's gone to as a child and meant a lot to him. That place is stunningly beautiful. It was a well lush day. We parked up and went for a slow walk up this big hill/cliff stopping every now and then for snuggles and to take in the amazing views. The weather was so clear, cold but clear and the sun was shining. We walked along the cliff edge looking down (a LOOOOOOONG way down) to the sea. I'd never been somewhere so peaceful before or felt such peace within myself, it was amazing. Imagine sitting in the sun, on the edge of a cliff with a beautiful view with the most amazing boy in the world! Jealous? I think so!! After resting, taking photos and just generally adoring each other we continued walking, along the cliff and then down a descent to a beautiful spit.
We walked in the sand (well Chris walked and I stumbled/nearly fell) by some lush beach huts. We both talked and didn't talk. It's nice when you feel so warm and content with someone and you know they feel the same so you don't have to fill the time with words because you both already know... you know? Anyway halfway down the spit there was this lush little diner/cafe thing that looked and felt just like it had been plucked from Summer Bay. We shared a baguette and had a hot chocolate/cappuchino while they played Jack Johnson (sp?). The diner girl caught us grinning and gazing at each other and we shared a secret smile.
When we left the diner all warm and stuff we walked the rest of the way down the spit and messed around right on the tip of it. We practised our sandwriting *snigger* and wrote cute messages in the sand and then looked for shells. I wanted a hermit shell but we couldn't find one and then the tide started to come in really fast and we had to nearly run to stop it from getting our feets. We walked back up the spit and got a little train thing on wheels back to the car park. The sun was just starting to go down and looked well pretty.
Chris drove us next to Bournmouth via Christchurch for a pepperami top up. We parked up at the BIC and went down by the beach to the arcade and a small fun fair type affair. We went on this ride which was not so disimilar to Samurai @ Chessington which made me feel a bit sick and played on the 2p machines! By then it was dark and the beach was deserted so we walked dpwn by the water and chatted and smooched. I got my trousers wet and covered in sand :S. After shaking the sand off my clothes we went for dinner at Harry Houzens (Ramsdens to you) and ate proper fish and chips.
After dinner we walked through the park with was gorgeous as again it was pretty much deserted and the only light came from these flower shaped light things on the lamposts. We found a pub and settled in big comfy chairs for beer and pudding of sickly proportions.
We then went home and did secret stuff
All in all it was the most perfect day of my life
P.S. I love him
