Anyone else's posts not showing up? As soon as I click submit, the page goes back to comments and doesn't post anything! It's so bizarre.

If you're the anon that was trying to post a fill a few times, it was flagging your posts as suspicious (it does that sometimes, if anon posts have links) and I unflagged them.

If not, uh... Post here about it and I'll look into it.

How odd. I'm sorry, if I had known that they were being sent to you, I wouldn't have posted more than once! I'm terribly sorry about that, I wish LJ would tell me these things! I thought it just wasn't posting altogether. Again, really sorry!

Don't worry about it- LJ is really weird about things sometimes. Lots of people's posts with links in them have gone through just fine, and others it freaks out on.

How odd, it still hasn't shown up! LJ must be buggy. Why must it hate us so?

Isn't this it here? http://portalkink.livejournal.com/649.html?thread=131977#t131977

Or is this someone else's screened fill?

Nope, that's it. I guess it just wasn't showing up for awhile. This is really odd. Oh LJ, why do you hate meeee? (Also, thank you!)

I guess it's the same flagging thing. It's been annoying me too though. I'll post something and it won't be there. Or I'll go from page 1 where it says there are 400-something comments to page 2 where it says there are 300-something comments. I figured it was just LJ being LJ...

Well, that's weirder- there are no flagged comments at the moment. I've had to unscreen a couple of comments before this but not many. (If it's doing that when you try to post a link, it's probably screening it. If it's just doing it for no reason... Well, I can poke around the settings and see what I can find)

Then again, LJ just hasn't been the same since the DDOS. It might just be the code having a seizure.

It's done that a couple of times when I was posting a fill. I could see my post, but if I clicked out to the meme before replying to it to post another part of the fill, it would just disappear. But I could still press back and reply to it, so it was there. Just not showing up.

... If that makes sense...

The way the comment count changes between pages sometimes, it seems like it's taking a while for comments to show up after they're posted. IDK.

Oh man, that's happening to me too! It's really really weird.

That's really strange. I just checked the comment settings and everything seems in order- anon posting enabled, no moderator queue, and so on. As for the comment count changing, I can't say I've seen that happening myself, but I'll keep an eye out.

You're right, though, it almost sounds like the LJ servers aren't quite keeping up with the comment flow.

If you post like you're describing, does it show up eventually or do you have to try again later?

Never had to re-post anything. It does show up eventually, so it's not a huge problem. Just weird and mildly frustrating.

Ironically, I did have to re-post this because I accidentally unannoned the first time. >_>

Ha, that's LJ for you. :V

It must be some kind of server issue, then.

I just wait a bit until it fixes itself... or catches up, I dunno. It's weird because I've never seen it happen in any sort of LJ comm. Nobody double post, though. Your post will definitely go through, because all of mine have.

It used to happen to me to until started logging in.
Now I always browse with my account and just hit anonymous when I want to post.
