JobFair

So i went to a job fair today on campus. Not entirely impressed with the selection for non-business majors, but I found some things that interested me. I already have a job interview tomorrow with the State Public Interest Research Groups (PIRGs). They are kind of like lobbyists, but a bit different. A job I would be interviewing for is more of what they call a Fellowship. I would be campaigning for a specific issue and try to raise awareness about it. It something that sounded cool, and I'll think about it. BUT instead, I think I found exactly what I was looking for. State Street Corporation. In Boston. I already applied for two jobs that sound VERY interesting to me. The first one is called Fund Accoutant 3, which is more of an accoutant, or book keeper. It's very interesting and starting pay is somewhere around 36k. I can deal with that. For now. It's more than what I am making and it's very easy to move up in the company. I know that once I get a job, I will easily be able to move up. I have a strong personality and am willing to put in the work and effort needed to move up. Plus, I usually want to move up, so my employer would be able to see that. Also, this job does not require me to be a business major. I do have a lot of experience with business stuff though, especially budgets and all that. Well, it's actually really late. So I should stop obsessing about all this job stuff like I have for the past three days and go to bed. So, here's to the real world! CAN'T WAIT!
