Everyone is in a tizzy about the storm, which makes me glad that I live so close to work! Some of my co-workers have expressed renewed interest in moving into the co-op too...
Too many other things at work and the co-op are blustering around for me to be overly concerned about the weather. I'm hoping the weather won't keep me out of TO this weekend though- they've got intructors in from Standford teaching waltz and other dances (
http://odd-socks.org/r&m.htm). Ironically, after the dance classes, I'm going to rush home to Waterloo for the Da Capo concert (
http://www.dacapochamberchoir.ca/) instead of sticking around and putting my new mad dancin' skillz to work.
Yesterday evening was decidedly less stormy, literally and metaphorically. A friend and I had some time to kill, so we ripped apart old hard drives to harvest the magnets and platters. I'm going to make a really geeky wind chime from the disks and I'm tempted to use the copper and aluminum rings to make even geekier jewelery ;-)
