START SLUG CHROMATICS a_dream_tiger November 4 2008, 07:11:13 UTC
Here is one variation of such a shirt (I think my friend Jana, who first mentioned the concept the phrase to me a decade ago, may have made her own). It seems that this fellow thinks the problem may solve itself anyway, regardless of any garments of geological activism.

I applaud both your choice of fauna and of web site for your chromatic inspiration and planning needs. I have been known to expound frequently the infallible rule that "Purple is correct." As such I was rather struck by the Cuthona sibogae and also the second Pteraeolidia ianthin, but I think the fact that your choices accidentally tend to match your hair is a definite mark in their favour. I especially liked the colour titles on some of the palettes. I was just mentioning to David this past weekend how I'm fond of a good title that can seem, at times, to act like a final brushstroke.

Thanks for the tea and bunnies and kitties and fine company. I look forward to seeing you folks when you are next southwardly able and inclined.

P.S. I needed a subscription to access the "nice" video on Coloribus.com, but I found it on youtube over here.
