But before I go into why I'm slightly freaked out...
Today is my mate James' 21st birthday! He's the baby of our year group...born July 23rd...always has the last birthday...yet somehow was the first to get a job, the first to get a partner and will probably be the first to get married out of myself, Bronwyn, Meagan & Daniel - the MacFields Crew, as I've dubbed us.
So happy birthday my dear goofy friend and I hope that your g/f spoils you rotten (as she already has...buying you a new TV worth $900! Sheesh)
Lunch with my Father dear was interesting. I found that he's dating a girl 12 year's his junior, that he's still as dorky as ever and that my little sister, Sara, plays Netball. This came as a shock to me as Buller's don't play sport! I thought it went against our very genetic make up to be athletic.
My dad claims that he was athletic when he was younger, but I have my doubts. This is coming from the man who has so much Superman memorabilia that it's a little scary (included a superman themed end table...I could not make that up)
McSheepy (that is your official alias for my LJ posts my friend and you'll need to live with it!) bought my fabric for my costumes for me yesterday. She is brilliant. I'm so excited to see the finished product! It was much cheaper than I thought it would be, but that's why McSheepy is doing it for me - she's much more in the know about these types of things than I am :)
Now we come to the bane of my existence - exercising!
I've been meaning to "get fit" for six months now and never did anything about it. I impulsively bought 3 exercise DVD's last week and have been working out whenever I get a chance since then and I'm am LOVING IT! You might be a little confused since I just said it was the bane of my existence. I say this because while I love the feeling I get after exercising and adore the satisfaction I have when I can see myself getting slimmer, I really hate feeling like my heart is about to pop after about five minutes of exercise.
Eurgh.
But I suppose that's the price you have to pay to be healthy!
The next installment of my attempt to break my writers block should be finished shortly, especially considering I have no work to do today, so look forward to that! *cough*
Important Question: Which actress would hire to play me in a movie?
Important Question #2: How long would a hug have to be before it become more than friendly?
I leave you with a link to my new obsession - SIms 3 Legacy's.
