Ah, day off. What would I do without you, other than go to Wendy's, and pick up a #4 for my hard days' work this past week? :X Hee.
Well, okay: I went to the DPS office to request a new license. XD Y'see, Texas drivers have their licenses in two different positions: upside, for drivers under 21, and longside (like the front of a credit card) for drivers over.
Guess which one I currently have...? =P Ahahahahahaa...
So yeah. I told the lady what I wanted, and she laughed at me, and had me fill out paperwork. >>; When my number was called, and I relayed my request to the counter, not only did the lady there laugh, but so did her supervisor, and the Texas State Trooper that was passing by. X_x; Argh, them. They all agreed that I still looked -waaaay- under 21 ("Fifteen or sixteen," the State Trooper said. XD), and to not be surprised if I still get ID'd. =P Ah, well.
I told them that I used it once to buy liquor, and they nearly didn't sell the product to me because -of- the license itself. That got another laugh out of them too... >>;;
It'll take about three weeks to get here, but after that, no more kid license. XP! Thank goodness.

Next week, I work at another CVS on Monday, then Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. I have a day off on Tuesday, and it looks like it's going to stay that way until June, or so, when I go back to the current CVS. Fine with me.
I also learned that techs don't work on the weekends -- just the pharmacists, because they're on salary. Heh. That's also an awesome thing, imo. I can still make Den chat! n_n; Yey.
The weekend following, however, I'm going up to SA for Easter. Mary's birthday is also on that Friday, so I might take her and Mom out to dinner at Olive Garden, or something. It's very hard to believe that she's going to be fourteen, and going to high school next year... =| (I can still remember when she was running around half-naked in diapers! XD Heeheehee, blackmail. <3)
And, ooh: memage! :
The Befriend A Postman Meme:
Post a job you've had, or currently have. You can list more than one, or even something that wasn't technically a job, such as somewhere you volunteered. Then open the floor for questions. Encourage your friends to do the same, and we may someday solve such mysteries as who gets to drive the trucks at the post office.*

* It's probably not asking this, but for the USPS, MPO's are the people that drive the little postage trucks from neighborhood to neighborhood. MVO's are the people that drive the 18-wheelers intra/interstate.
