There is a carpet; I'm looking at it right now. It consists of a series of branches that meld into square-shapes that morph into flowers. Within said flowers, there are birds -- maybe mockingbirds, since they seem to fit into the origin of said carpet. Some are sitting about, minding their own business - just being resting mockingbirds, or whatever they may be. There are others who seem to be ruffling their feathers just a bit, almost as if they're ready to take flight. And then there are the others who have already taken flight, and there's a tell-tale stream of feathers that have left them; these are the only ones whose beaks are open and whose wings are in full swoop.
Tell me, please. Does anyone believe in love at first sight? How about, if the answer to the first question is affirmative, what do you do if the second sight just re-affirms the first? I'm not asking for advice here, I've already decided that to say anything crazy would be emotional suicide; I'm just asking if anybody out there has any love-at-first-sight-stories, and how they turned out!
Thank you very much, and I will tell a little bit about the Aussie gal. It was a wonderful weekend; I'm just terribly sad it's over right now. Ciao, and chat later.
