The Birds of Tjornin Pond

This was taken on Christmas Day. It was quite cold and the snow was getting a bit heavier. The City pumps tepid water into one corner of Tjornin so it won't melt, therefore giving the birds a place where they can swim! Clever Icelanders! Those geese, like most geese I've met, are rather aggressive at times, and, may I add, somewhat ... mean. Cheers!
