Many of you are aware of the current LJ Advisory Board election being held. Voting is open until Thursday, May 29. I encourage all of you to take a few moments, read up about the candidates and vote. Just a note, our best chance of getting someone with fannish traits into position is legomymalfoy, who is currently second behind someone unabashedly anti-fandom. Splitting our vote is a bad, bad thing in a situation this close--just ask Ralph Nader.

At this moment, legomymalfoy has 31% in first place. Her closest competitor, Jameth has 21%, and I think I recall him having about that yesterday when I checked-- he isn't getting many new votes.
RM has 26% in second runnings, and Jameth has 15%-- but legomymalfoy has a pretty decent 10% there, anyway.

And Vichan is 19% in third.

What I find cool and awesome is the way fandom has pulled together, cooperating with our votes and following a recommended plan....
