Pornish Update
Okay, so here's the update I've been promising for a while. Apologies for taking so long to get to it...life has been a bit more intense as of late than I've liked.
I've turned the community settings on to explicit adult content. This means that no journal with a registered age under 18 will be able to join the community. Given that setting, I've now opened membership up. If you've requested membership recently, then you should go here and join the community. I won't be adding people individually, so you need to join yourself in order to see posts.
As before, posting access will only be available to invited authors and artists, but membership allows you to read the archived fics.
In addition, there will be some changes made to pornish_pixies in coming weeks. With the start of the New Year, I'm going to be reworking some things to encourage more activity in the community. One of these changes will be to set up a group of individuals who will be responsible for scouting out new artists and authors. The members of this group will need to be active readers in the HP slash fandom as well as active reccers. If you're interested in being part of this group, please email your name, the pairings you read and a link to some recs to femmequixotic @ livejournal.com.
I'm also very interested in talking to anyone who has any experience with coding and installing the latest version of eFiction and who might have some free time in the next few weeks.
And now the big announcement. I've been going back and forth about this for a while now, getting opinions from various people. But with the most recent events on LJ, I strongly feel the best way to protect our art and fics and allow the greatest amount of access to all individuals is to move the community to Insanejournal. As of January 1, posting will take place there. You can friend the community via this link. I will be adding posting members over the coming weeks. If you are an artist or author with posting access here on LJ and your IJ username is different than your LJ user name, please let me know.
For those of you without IJs, this community will still be kept up; links to fics will be collected from LJ at least a monthly basis (possibly weekly, if there are enough fics) and posted under an flock here. You can also comment on IJ posts via Open ID using your LJ user name. I'll post instructions on that closer to the move date.
