MOD POST
Hi everyone,
Halo here and yes, I am addressing that subject that's been on everyone's list. Actually I'm not going to really discuss it, I'm just going to tell you what I've done in order to protect Pornicators and by extension the fics posted by all of you.
As you all know the comm has been locked to members for fics rated NC-17 and above for sometime now. We're a pretty small group and not real active but I don't want any one to lose anything they posted here. They aren't coming after fiction writers yet but I believe that it's only a matter of time.
To appease LJ's current TOS I've gone ahead and moderated the comm just like the other adult themed communities. I really don't know how much good it will do but I'm going to do everything I can to try and keep this a safe place for our members.
To protect yourselves as much as possible, please go back and lock all your fics. I've done all I can to lock your future posts but I need your help to do the past ones please.
And on that note, I've mirrored this community on Insanejournal. It can be found here. If you have an IJ, please friend the asylum and I will do the same so you may post over there as well if you wish.
Now, I know should have asked before doing this but like I said I wanted to make certain no one's fics were lost during a witchhunt. I was offered the chance to move the comm in one go last night and I jumped on it.
The fantastic and most wonderful nessime_lisen was kind and gracious enough to archive and transfer the entire comm, mirroring it completely for us at IJ. Everything has already been transferred, all the way back to snapesdarkling very first welcome post. So yeah, it's all there, folks. She did a fantastic job and I thank her immensely for it.
However, if you do not want your fics there, I will be glad to delete the posts. Please leave me a comment here and I will take your posts down from IJ. I realize it was not my place to move your fics without asking and I am asking for your forgiveness if I have upset you in anyway by doing so. I was trying to make certain none of the hardwork was lost.
So, I appreciate you all taking the time to read over my babblings. I appreciate you all being members and posting to Pornicators. You are all a brilliant and wonderful group of people and I have loved interacting with each and every one of you. I hope you'll all continue to create the wonderful stories and post them here or at IJ or at both places if you so desire.
