back at school
It has been a long while since my last update so I will fill you in on what I have been up to:
- Three weekends ago I went camping to Long Point Provincial Park, it is a giant sand bar on Lake Erie, The weather for the first two days was good but on the last day it rained which meant we had to pack up our stuff while it was wet. eew. We ate lots of good food, and I paddled around with Danya in an inflatable kayak (it was a wee bit scary at times)
- The day I came back from camping Jan arrived and we spent the next few days together unpacking,cleaning the house and such.
- Melanie came to visit on the first of september, and the next day we trekked up to Montreal for the Osheaga festival and some sight seeing, both of which were lots of fun. Jan was staking Montreal for possible places to live, as he is applying to go to McGill next year. Some of the highlights of the festival were seeing Sonic Youth, Metric, Malajube, Wolf parade, Duchess Says, Final Fantasy, and the Hidden Cameras.
-We spent the rest of the week recovering from the weekend, doing small shopping trips to Toronto and downtown Guelph.
- On Saturday we went to the zoo, most of the facilities however I was appalled by the bear "habitat" it was really small :( tho on the happy side of things I got to see Jaguars playing with one another.
- Sunday, melanie left and Jan and I went climbing.
Today is my first day back at school and it hurts a little bit.
