Actually, the Angelique fandom is suspiciously free of all of that squealing silliness by and large simply because of its untranslated nature. And yah, a few years ago I was DEEP in the Angelique fandom. I mean like watching the raw OVAs as the came out, buying the full manga, and collecting every single image song deep. If you want a decent sample of the fandom, I'd point you towards Ange Asylum... even if it does have fics I am no longer proud of, but oh well.
