Plans for 2013:
- Finish my Masters. Just one class left. Plus, you know, about 8 additional math classes.
- Eventually, I want to get something published in my field. Right now that's in the category of things I refuse to think much about in favor of short-term survival, but that may change during the year. (I expect this to become something I can plan for & begin working toward this year, not something I can accomplish in its entirety.)
- Continue playing games with friends online and commenting on people's LJs & other blogs. It's fun and it's paying off in friendships & in maintaining my mental health. Hurray for only being a hermit 95% of the time!
- Try to get together with my sisters & my local friends more often.
- Consider joining the weekly gaming group to which I have a standing invitation.
- ...You know, I think any type of goal-setting or planning would be counterproductive. That may change in ~6 months, but for now, staying out of the hospital (and maybe taking an occasional walk, now that I live where that is practical) is as ambitious as is wise.
- Okay, and setting up the dental work I need is probably an achievable goal.
- Reopen Mad Science Designs. Doggone it, I miss the most colorful part of my life!
- Keep writing. It's fun. It also feels like I'm reclaiming something that was taken from me.
- Finish up some craft projects which have been waylaid by a lack of space & time.
- Set up my sewing machine so I don't have to set it up anew each time I use it.
- Organize my craft supplies. (Again, I have space for that now!)
- I will, as usual, make Acorn's birthday cake & Halloween costume this year. I think he wants something a bit elaborate for the costume this year. At least I am forewarned.
- There will also be the usual omnipresent knitting projects. Plus a secret bonus project which only occurred to me in the last hour. Maybe if I start planning now, it can be a Christmas gift. 11.5 months might be enough time for [redacted], given the state of my life. Maybe.
