A while back, laridian was posting amusing signs and billboards from City.

In preview, this one read "HUG COLLECT."

If you're having trouble reading the image, the top reads "When you need protection that's not just any Geek off the street, call us. We're handy with the steel, if you know what I mean." Under that, "THUG
COLLECTIVE Security Corp.: Extra large Security. DON'T CALL US WE WILL FIND YOU"

I guess even supervillains need bail bondsmen. (I was only able to get a decent shot of this one by having Smidge jump through a tree, thus the autumn leaves on the left.)

Flying Lotus Martial Arts! Train with a hero. Be a hero to others. That style of tunic seems to be particularly popular in Paragon City these days.

Next up, a fairly random assortment of images. Mostly Al and either allies or enemies.

Al fought enough of the megademonic Behemoth Overlords - many of them solo - to earn a badge for it. It feels fitting, given her background, that she was more effective against demons than against most enemies.

Here, she's immobilized one with the Five Rings power from the Winter Lords event. (Yes, those are five golden rings. Al probably doesn't know the reference, though.)

Soloing with an empathy defender is difficult enough without getting mapservered (disconnected) 2/3 of the way through a long mission.

You'd think, given her dislike of the cold and wet, that Al could have found a better place to stop and rest.

On this mission in Dark Astoria. Al was very careful not to touch anything, especially that red "water." Doesn't that thing in front of her look like a monstrous nose? There's its nostril, right by her knee.

I played a couple of missions in a pickup group with this sorceress. It amused me that she looked very much like a more buxom, and more flamboyantly-dressed, version of Al. Alatan if she had been born in the CoV universe, perhaps? Al as I've written her to date would be unbearably self-conscious, at best, in this getup.

In character, Al was kind of bewildered when someone gave her a jetpack as a holiday gift. She could fly under her own steam, after all, and sparkly things aren't exactly her style. Fortunately, she accepted it in the spirit it was given, and decided it was kind of nice to use when she was tired, or on long flights: didn't require as much energy.

Besides, it annoyed Crash, who called it "ridiculous."

(Out of character, of course, I was and am highly amused by the ridiculous thing. Whee!)

One more pic, this one as posed an image as things could get in CoX. In Pocket D, just before the shutdown, someone said, "Get over here for a group picture!" So we did.

This is the only image I've bothered to edit beyond cropping; it was impossible to see faces, especially Shade's, until I lightened it.

I'll miss them all, even those I barely knew.
