My dads best friend phil dropped me off a copy of the mansfield phish show today. the cd is amazing but it doesn't quite give off the crowd intensity that there was. i went with my best friend mike, and the whole day in total was wonderful. me and mike took a trillion pictures of random people and stuff. on the way there these weird homosexual arab guys were eating cum chocolate, with their hands on each others laps. we stopped at a red light and they started blatently staring at us so i put down mikes window and took out his digital camera and took a picture of them waving at us. it was a quality picture. we got other random pictures along the way, we basically documented the whole voyage.

So anyways the sets we're amazing, and the encore was double amazing. phil snuck me up front row and i got to watch the whole show from there which was triple amazing. i went back up because i was going to get mike down front too but i didnt have my ticket so they wouldn't let me, i felt wicked bad but he said the show was just as wonderful from up there. this chick who was right near me got called up on stage to sing with trey... it was instant jealousy. i got some amazing pictures from up front, and the light show. i was like ten feet away from the band, it was crazy. and well i basically just danced the whole entire night with phil, and his wife bonnie. the atmosphere was amazing, i mean i've been to other shows before but just the atmosphere of this show was purely spectacular. good vibes were coming at you from all directions. i think everyone just realized that this may be the last time they ever hear the boys jam together, and everyone took advantage of this last chance and just let the music really like get to them. nobody stopped themselves they just let it flow. there wasn't a single person in that whole entire place that wasn't moving. i got alot of pictures of just the crowd. it was like a giant sea of people with glowsticks flying through the air, everywhere. i think that it was honestly one of the best phish shows i've ever been to. they ended with bouncing round the room which was perfect because thats exactly how you felt while you we're there. it was like a dream.

i just got back yesterday from a trip i took all around. didn't get into coventry but thats alright the lot and parties are still just as great. and the worse part is my friend actually got me a ticket, but i guess they're going to reimburse him for the tickets because in the end he didn't even get in.

apart from that debacle, the rest of my journey was good. i spent sometime just relaxing and clearing my head. it was really good for me. i came to alot of conclusions about life and everything thats happening. then i spent some time with my family down the cape for a few days. all and all i think this whole trip to clear my head was just what i needed. i feel different, and well i just know better now.

i spent sometime yesterday with my good friend adam. i haven't seen him in a real long time, and well it was really good just spending some quality time with him. he makes me feel alot better about things and i think i do the same for him. we both just kind of balance things out.

Layne Staley would have been 37 if he was still alive on this day.
