The Lovely Butterfly

Aug 28, 2006 11:22

Butterflies in every type of color
Descended upon me one beautiful spring day
They brought me, as a gift,
Scents of the field and a little bit of pollen
And also, tidings of warm peace
From a sweet ray of sunlight.

So come to me, lovely butterfly
Sit next to me, on my palm
Sit, rest, don't be afraid.

The drifted in the soft breeze
When they were tired, they came straight down to me
The rested a little bit
Listened to a story
And drank a drop of nectar
And then they all flew away
Just because they felt like flying.

So come to me, lovely butterfly
Sit next to me, on my palm
Sit, rest, don't be afraid.
