i went into a scrapbook store today.
i can't even begin to explain what that was like for me. i honestly feel like my moral ingegrity was comprimised by that fucking store. it was one of the most awful thing i have ever seen. a store full of women, older than middle aged and slightly to significantly overweight talking about church and children/grand-children and fucking scrapbooks. the saddest part is that i never had anything against scrapbooks until today. now the very idea makes me want to vomit. i wanted to scream the entire time i was in that godforsaken store, and the line took about 20 minutes to get through. 20 minutes of old annoying scrapbooking women talking over me about how "cute" this matting paper was (it had frightening circus animals on it) and if so-and-so had time to go home between church and scrapbooking class. and so-and-so's kid doing such-and-such. and there were sticker sets in the store for various virginia colleges and high schools. i am so fucking thankful that field doesn't have sticker sets. and there was this disgusting "family" sticker set with obnoxious stickers saying 'MOM' 'DAD' 'SON' 'DAUGHTER' all over them. oh my god. oh. my. god.
and it smelled like old women who scrapbook. because scrapbook is a verb. to scrapbook.
and there were bumper stickers on the cars in the parkinglot.
they said "scrapbookers are a CUT above" and "Scrapbooker on board"
i honestly almost started crying when i got back to my car.
oh, and i was there to pick up some letters for this woman i act as bitch for a few hours at a time to be paid ridiculously well for. ksklkdlkjfkjfjkljkfjkffjlkjlk scrapbooking. to scrapbook. i scrapbook you scrapbook she scrapbooks he scrapbooks they scrapbook we scrapbook. oh my fucking jesus. oops, took the lord's name in vain. hope the scrapbookers dont' hunt me down for that. oh mfy lfjlfljfjlkfklfljk
also, i[ve been listening to a lot of country recently.
also, waking up next to someone is fun.
(don't tell the scrapbook ladies i said though, it's totally not cool with the bible)
there was just a really awkward power- outtage in my room. odd.
