I was poking about the great and glorious time-suck of doom while my sprained dignity sort of recooperated. My train of thought was bouncing along a weird set of tracks (what's new). I was thinking how much fun it would have been to have gone up to see Some Like it Hot at the Million Dollar Theater in downtown L.A. two weekends ago. Tony Curtis was going to be there. Now if Jack Lemmon had been there I would have had to attend! (but that would be a bit tricky). It would have been fun, but I didn't want to fool with it since the next weekend would be filled with Father's Day frippery. But I was poking about, and found this quote from an article earlier this month in the L.A. Times.

,,,Even his great collaborator Wilder fondly described him as a ham. "You can always trim a ham," he said. "Jack Lemmon always gives you everything."

I Iike it!

And then I found this endearing piece of "fan art". I love The Great Race. Too cute!
