Spiked Room II

And now the answer! How do you escape the spiked room?

It’s simple.

You must have gotten into the room somehow, right? So it’s safe to assume the portion of the ceiling you are hanging The portion of the ceiling you are hanging on,may in fact be the entrance to this room, and your weight is what holds it shut. The best way that I can see is to pick yourself upwards from the chain, thereby lifting your own weight from the ceiling for at least a second. This will probably hurt like hell when you drop your weight down, as it will, you know, crush your fingers… but if you can hold it for at least a moment, you stand a chance.

What the hell does any of this mean?

Well, to put it simply, sometimes we all find ourselves in places we don’t want to be. We may not understand how we got there, but as long as we learn to pick ourselves up and look for the way out, we stand some sort of chance.

It’s easy to judge ourselves, isn’t it? To think we can’t do it, to hate ourselves for it… but the trick is to love yourself despite the doubt. At least enough to give yourself the confidence to know that you CAN do it. You CAN get out of that spiked room if you try hard enough.

Or you can give up. That’s the easy way out. It gets you more dirty looks, of course, and you don’t really escape. You just die there.

No one likes a quitter.

Look, people, you aren’t as bad as you think you are. If you feel that you are, then it’s time to do something about it. No one can change you but YOU. Often times, the people who whine about how hard things are just want someone to make it easier for them so they can be lazy bastards.

The fun (yeah… let’s go with that) in life is being able to support yourself and live it to the fullest. No one can make you happy but you.
