tired hill
Oh, yes...the backwards inside-out pajamas worked all too well. We had about six inches of snow Friday morning, but then that was topped by freezing rain, and more rain. It was slushy and mucky.
This morning we awoke to about seven more inches of nice wet, fluffy white stuff. Now, due to the ne miraculous sleep pattern adopted by Zoe, we didn't get up until ten o'clock. Yesssss. She didn't go to bed until 11, however, but she slept through the night without a wakeup. Fantastic.
Daddy, Z and I suited up for some snow fun. We tromped down to the yucky playground, which is actually quite nice when buried in snow. After five or six trips down the hill on the plastic sled, Z was done. I think it was walking back up the hill that did her in.
"Mama, this is a tired hill. Walking up it makes you tired."
Yes, I know. I'm out of shape, too.
