Figure Commissions
Tomorrow I will hopefully offer figure commissions once again to the pkmncollectors community. It's been a while since my last batch, there's just a touchup for one of them and some drawn goodies to add but it'll be out of my house soon and into someone's collection <3
So I'm thinking of auctioning off 4 commission slots (starting at $20?) and re-auctioning the Misty Pokedoll figure since she didn't sell at her first auction. I'll post my intended comm post below. All the examples listed will be images in the final post, I just need to find all of the original photos. If you have any suggestions or advice, let me know ^^
Well, now that it is summer, I have a lot more free time available. So, I'm going to open up figure commissions again~
I will auction off 3 commission slots this time around.
~~~OPTIONS~~~
POKEMON:
Normal: In-proportion figures of any Pokemon. For these, I enjoy doing more dynamic poses, so if there's any poses you're fond of, provide the reference and I will do my best to bring it to life.
Examples: Bulbasaur, Togekiss, Nidoqueen
Walky: A HGSS overworld sprite styled figure. Can have interchangeable expression icons.
Examples: Milotic, Snivy, Skarmory
Pokedoll: Chibi, sitting (or standing) Pokedoll-styled figures.
Examples: Audino, Vulpix, Haunter
Attack: A Pokemon of your choice using an attack move. Similar to FCS or Battle Museum figures. This is new, and somewhat more experimental, as I haven't done many yet. Keep in mind that not all attacks will look as nice in a figure, and that I don't have translucent clay XD
Examples: Nidoran, Togekiss
Charms: Chibi or regular tiny Pokemon charms. With dot eyes or regular.
Examples: Ninetails, Raikou
POKEMON HUMANS:
Yes! I also offer trainers, gym leaders and other human characters from Pokemon. I will do any cannon Trainer, Gym Leader, Elite Four member, Trainer class, Battle Frontier Brain, you name it! Even charcters from Pokemon Adventures Manga.
Chibi: A standing chibi-ish styled human character.
Examples: Gary, Crystal
Pokedoll: Similar to the Pokemon variety, but with people~
Examples: Bugsy and Falkner, Flint, May
Charms: Tiny, chibi human charms! I can also make a tiny Pokemon, or make them hold their badge if they're a Gym Leader.
Examples: Falkner
RULES:
- Do not bid what you can not afford to pay
- There are two payments, half of the total payment up front and then the second half + shipping once I finish
- If I have done a Pokemon figure in a certain style, I will NOT do it again. Unless it is a shiny variety or has a significant difference. Feel free to ask if what you want is available before bidding.
- I only accept Paypal
- Once I ship a figure, I have no control over it.
- I ship from the USA
- No trades this time. I am trying very hard to earn up for my own computer. UNLESS you happen to have a Nidorina Retsuden Stamp, Natu Pokedoll, Falkner Badge and Tag set, or Zapdos Zukan on you.
- Each auction is for one figure or two charms. HOWEVER
- if the price does above $30, both a figure and a charm, or three charms can be commissioned by the winner.
- if the price goes above $50, I will make a total of 2 figures for the winner.
Process:
- After receiving the first payment, I will start sketching out plans for your figure and consult the buyer over the design, posing etc.
- Next I sculpt the figure. This would be the ideal point in the process to point out any part of the figure you are dissatisfied with so that I can fix it before I bake it. Fixing things after it is baked is more difficult if sometimes impossible.
- Then I paint and spray coat the figure. I mix the colors myself. If the color isn't quite the right shade, I can still adjust it before coating it.
- And finally once the second payment is sent, I will ship it out, wrapped in bubble wrap and newspaper inside a box.
- The amount of time needed depends on the complexity of the request. However, I am aiming to get this round done by the end of June.
