blah blah blah
I caught that. Was I not supposed to? Did you know that it was said? haha
I have to kill an hour and I do not want to be productive. I will be at work when I get there.
Oh, hello. Where have you been for so long? I'm glad you're back. You should stay this time, friend.
Cheerios, metal and sunchips = quite the dinner. :)
Ugh, things are awesome, so why do I feel this sense of doubt about so many things?
...I want a hug.
I have a love hate relationship with the world and society. I hate technology and how dependent on it in all aspects people really are. People are so disconnected with themselves and others due to the copious amounts of texting and talking online that we do. FUCK THAT. I like talking face to face, nature and simple things like sitting in the grass. Screw having a million video games that drown your brain in bullshit. I like sitting in cars talking when it's too cold to go for a walk. I love the sound of rain falling.
I don't get why people feel the need to set all of these high expectations for themselves and the people around them. Life is only so long if the goal is to make a ton of money and gain a ton of materialistic bullshit where's the happiness in that? Why does money measure how "successful" someone is? Why can't people measure success in how many times you laugh or smile in one day? Or how happy you are with the world that you live in and how many people you feel that you can tell anything to? or how about the number of times that you have laughed so hard you cried for ten minutes at a time? I guess I just don't see the world as a place where there are constant opportunities to move up. There is always something holding people back unless you are already high up in the chain of people that we call society. You are born into a certain part of the ladder, and moving up is not as easy for everyone depending on what part of the ladder you are born into. If you are born in a certain part of the world, you may never even have the chance to see a doctor, but there are always people around and friendships can always be formed and, for now until global warming kicks it into high gear, nature and its beauty will always be around. We don't need money to see things like a beautiful sunset or to sit in the grass with friends and talk about life. So why are you considered so unsuccessful in life if you are legit HAPPY where you are in nature and with your friends. Technology leads us to believe that little pieces of green paper, fabric really, are what life is all about. I like to think differently.
I wish more people cared about the simple things like the way that the sky looks at sunset or how the grass feels in the summertime and how cool wet sand between your toes feels. I like real conversations and blowing bubbles. I like swing sets and the way that the wind feels in my hair when I'm swinging.
I am not saying that money isn't important or that technology isn't helpful. I just feel that the world is corrupt with the way that it handles money and the way that we depend on technology. I dunno, I really just wanted to type for a while I suppose. (?)
On another note (rant): I hate Valentine's Day with a passion. adjhsajdhasjhd that!! If you care about someone, you should show them that you do and that you appreciate them EVERYDAY, not just on a day that is commercialized as being "the day of love" when you are almost required to get gifts and show someone that you care. It's such a stupid Hallmark holiday that was created by stupid people to make themselves more money. How many flowers, stuffed animals, chocolates and jewelry are purchased for this "holiday"?! It's such a ridiculous day. suck it valentine's day.
PEACE OUT
