As I get older, I realize, that the world I once knew will never be the same ever again. It is sad and happy all at once. I won't be the same insecure little girl I was before. While there are things I am insecure and unhappy about. I've finally got it, I have a plan. My life has direction and purpose. I am actually really happy. I can't wait for school to start. I can't wait for real life to commence. I can't wait for Rickey to move to New Jersey.
I feel secure. And while I worry about all sorts of details. Overall I know I am going to be okay. And I can't help feeling a little smug about it. Bad things will always happen, that's how things go. But I will be okay.
