omg.
ted just called to tell me that his band is headlining at the evolve festival this summer. that's pretty awesome. i don't know if i'll go and camp out there (even if it is at the fairgrounds) for the whole three days since it is a giant festival for dirty shiftless hippies, but it's pretty cool anyway. (also i think that i have to take my hatred for hippies and all of their nonsense into consideration before further committing myself to attending
bonnaroo, although the thought of NIN+bruce+tennessee makes me happy, in theory).
i also have to work on the press kits for the band, and i'm a little lost since i don't really know how to put one together. i guess i'll figure it out as i go along. i mean, this is the kind of stuff that the internet was invented for, right? to act as the great consultor when i don't know something? plus, i have to get to work on their stickers since they made enough at the last show to start making miscellaneous merch and i am once again in charge of these non-musical things. hantson was supposed to help me tomorrow with these things before they go meet with the emergenza festival people in ny, but he's getting his tattoo finished (one arm will already has a buffalo, and the other one will have thomas jefferson. he wants to look like a nickel. i shit you not) before he comes up to jerz. those fucking boys.
oh and i think that ashley's gonna win the contest due to her recent bout with the stomach flu which left her 12 lbs. lighter. i'm trailing by a good deal, but i still plan to lose the rest before our trip. at least 6 lbs. is better than nothing.
ps i like it when it's 55 degrees in february. i hope this lasts for a few more days because i'm getting used to it, but i know that it's supposed to be 30 degrees again this weekend. damnable winter!
