I spent far too much money yesterday...

But it was such a great day! Daniel and I left for the city around 9:30, got coffee and donuts on the way. Yum. The fisrt stop we made was Best Buy in....Mill Valley? I got the Sims 2! Woo hoo! We went to Amoeba where I bought over $100 worth of cds. Two were gifts though, and two more had out of print stickers, so I had to get them. It was the first time I have been there and been able to buy anything. Fun. Then we made our way back to the marina side of the city to Pier 39. There is this fantastic gallery - Rodney Lough Jr. He is photographer who takes these amazing pictures of nature. We went there for the first time earlier last year and were just mezmorized by these photographs. Now we know it's a permanant gallery. We each spent about $150 there. I got three 11 x 14 prints for myself and one for my grandma. Dan got three 11 x 14s and a 16 x 20. It felt so kool to buy real art. Now I just need some frames. After the pier we made our way to the Exploratorium. We spent several hours playing there. It was so fun. Next was dinner at La Tascana in San Rafael. We only go there for special occasions. I had the best lasagna. It was sooo delicious. Lastly we went to the movies and saw Underworld. Vampires are so hot! So yes, quite a good day indeed.

On the other hand, Emily is still in the care of strangers at some unknown location. There is a lady at my grandma's church who is a lawyer who specializes in issues like these, so hopefully she will be able to make things go smoother and quicker and be able to tell Travis exactly what needs to happen. If Travis even cares what happens. Geez. I don't want to think about that anymore, so I think I am gonna go play me some Sims.
