The next big adventure
So I have 5 working days left at DE and then I will move on to an international school in Beijing! I have moved out of my apartment and I'm currently living in a hostel in People's Square, but I think I might switch hostels next week. I booked a 6 bed female dorm and ended up in an 8 bed mixed dorm....and I'm the only girl. HELLO BOYS, yes just a little awkward.
I'm very excited and scared for my move, but looking to adding a great building block in my teaching career. DE to me was just a bit of life experience and to learn to give myself credit for my ability as a teacher.
Mum is visiting in just over 1 week and its going to be an amazing week when she gets here. I'm getting ready to book my bullet train trip to Beijing too...but you can only book a maximum of 11 days in advance, which is driving the little miss organised part of me insane!
Anyway my battery is running flat and I dont see any power points around in the bar at the hostel and there is no wireless in the rooms.
But bring on lifes next great adventure...I think I'm finally beginning to grow up and take responsibility and learning to deal with some very difficult situations, and I can't even speak the language. Go me!
