Have a laugh at my expense

Aug 12, 2007 19:55

This morning I woke up (as most people who arent living in the ground do) and felt like I had another ear infection...I thought it was a bit odd coz my last ear infection was caused from surfing (or sea water) but I havent been surfing since the beginning of winter.

So anyway I went to work, did a Mermaid party and a space party both for 6 year olds...fantastic with an ear infection.

I finished work at 2:30pm and my ear was really really hurting. I remember how bad my last one got so I went straight to the doctor after work.

*Here comes the smiling part*

I go into the docs rooms and tell him I have an ear infection and he checks it all out and says it looks good. Then he asks "Do you talk much?" Now for those of you who know me...this question is answered, for those of you who don't I suffer from a disease commonly known as verbal dirreah...I never fucking shut up!

So anyway he says where does it hurt and I showed him and being a typical doctor he pushes hard on the sore part but then gets me to open my jaw...well tried I got it about 5mm open and pulled away OWWWWW!

Turns out I have Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction Click here for details.

*Here comes the Laughing and pissing your pants part*

It means I have to pretty much shut up! I cant smile (but thats ok coz I'm Emo at the moment and thats not cool with the scene), only eat soft food....and not open my mouth wider than the tip of my thumb.

I have Pre-school prac tomorrow...how am I not ment to smile?!? those kids are so cute and come out with some real gems sometimes.

so other than the laughing factor while I was at the doctors I got that new vaccine for girls to prevent cancer...and one day stop pap smears!!!! 2 people asked me "Oh did you miss out on it at school?" (this Vaccine only came out this year) "ahhh no...I graduated in 2000, I'll be 25 next month" (I was wearing my hair in pigtails from work) both people that asked are like "NO WAY! you have such a baby face" my reply "I just have good genes"

I also met a lady that was on dialysis (not right then of course) and we were talking about needles in the waiting room and saying how much we hate them. I said I hate them but I still donate blood, and she thanked me and said how glad she was that I donate blood. made me feel very special!

Anyway thats the end of my rant for today.
