Teh Weekend Of Drunk Fire

This past weekend had its ups and downs. Mostly downs, but you deal with it and move on.

Friday I came into work late so I could go to happy hour right after work. Sarah was going out of town, so Justin and I just decided to go to his place and hang out. He ended up sleeping and I played Mario Kart for a good 5 hours, unlocking characters and new tracks to play. I eventually fell asleep around 1am.

Saturday I woke up and hung around for a little bit, then went home. I took a shower and headed downtown to watch the home run derby and softball all-star game. Not many people could hit home runs, which was a shame, but most of the money went to charity instead of someone's pocket.

Here's how the all-star game worked: Each softball team was able to pick two young members and two older members to play on a young team and an old team, then the two teams played against each other. I wouldn't have even gone to watch, but Justin was chosen, mostly because the other two members chosen to be on the young team were out of town.

They played 9 innings instead of the usual 7, and the older team won by a landslide - I forget the actual score, but it was brutal. After the game I headed home, packed my things, and went to Adrienne's. At first it was a little awkward because I hadn't seen all those people since the middle of May at xnakedbunnyx's graduation party and when Kris was here. But I eventually got back into the swing of things.

I won't go into too much detail, mostly because I was drunk and don't remember a lot of it, but I smoked far too many cigarettes (which is probably why I am sick), drank too much rum and coke, and ended up mounting Adrienne by the fire and making out with her for 10 minutes. There's video of it that Pete managed to get on his phone, but it's not very good. All you can see is Adrienne's leg and the fire reflecting off my belt.

I ended up sleeping in Taylor's tent with Pete, Alec, and Whitney. I started getting the spins when I laid down, so I had to stay awake for a bit. When I woke up in the morning Pete was gone. I stuck around for a little bit, then headed home. Since I didn't get much sleep, I was pretty out of it for roller derby and not very much fun. I think I was slightly hung over and starting to get sick.

happy hour, party, friends!, softball, weekends
