I'm about to go to bed

Yes. You read that correctly. School was tiring. Talking to Asha was tiring.

Apparently, dancing in a restaurnt means that I will have to conform. Which I guess isn't to bad. However, it also means that there will be annoying politics. Some dancers sleep around to get jobs, some get all pissy if they see another dancer at the restaurant who dances better than they do. I can understand conforming and being a little stereotypical so that non-dancers know what you are, but dancing crappily on purpose so fellow dancers don't get pissed?? I think not.

And apparently Cafe Istanbul is one the less political restaurants. *sighs*

Oh yeah. I have to play the zills to get a job there. I have no money for zills and would have to learn how to play them by Wednesday, which is the day my audition has been scheduled. So my options are: 1) Get zills, learn how to play them in a song with a simple rhythm, and possibly make a fool of myself, 2) Tell Asha that I can't be ready to play the zills that quickly, but still request to try out just to have some feedback on my dancing with a prop, or finally 3) Call Asha and don't try out at all. In any case the odds that I'll get hired seem to be slim.
