I've had the most shittily rubbish day, but the fannish stuff has been so good! It makes my poor head swim!
I'll start at the beginning - I got up super-early so I could digest the Paley Fest X-Files stuff before work. I'm still so excited by who showed up. Gosh, what a great panel.
The retrospective clip montage was so beautiful. I welled up you guys! It was also veeery shippy! *g* And the trailer! Yikes! It's just a teaser though, right? It wasn't long enough to be a full trailer was it? There was barely any dialogue (although what we did get was gold)! I must say that the bit where Mulder is trying to convince Scully he needs her quite strongly suggests to me that they haven't been hiding out together these past few years :/
If you're so inclined I STRONGLY suggest you download both videos in Quicktime format, because the quality is so much better.

Yeah, I loved it. I really need to rewatch, because I spent most of the second half going "I was right! I WAS RIGHT! Mwahhahahaha!!"
My absolute favourite bit was Gene carrying little Alex through the police station with THE EXACT SAME BLOCKING AS 1X01! **KEYSMASH**
OH I CANNOT BE COHERENT!! I will simply have to wait and form an I WAS RIGHT SUCKERS! post tomorrow, after I have slept away this day.
So yes, more proper thoughts on that tomorrow ;)
