It's been a while..
Work is great, I really do love it.
My dad helped me get an interview for Camping Time RV,
He's one of the directors for the chain of stores, and travels between all the stores,
So he's only in Woodstock once or twice a week, and in a completely different department,
So I never see him.
I make/track parts orders, provide over-the-phone troubleshooting, provide estimates, etc...
I love it.
I get paid a lot, we're closed Sundays, I get off at 5pm every day, my own office/computer/phone extension, tons of benefits..
Sure beats the hell out of busting my ass for $6.25/hr.
Haha, I got a call yesterday from Ken Stanton Music wanting me to work full-time for them,
I really really wanted that job, but you can't do better than what I've got right now.
I can either work there and get their discount on music,
or work where I'm at and have enough money for it not to matter lol..
I voted today.
It took about 20 minutes of waiting in line,
early voting is very convenient.
It's gonna be hell on November 2nd.
Anyone who knows me should know how I voted.
(HINT: I'm not an idiot.)
OH!
I spent $2600 Sunday.
I'm in a little debt to Best Buy right now for a few months :-(
I bought a new computer, 17" flat screen monitor, surround sound speakers, a new desk, new chair, microphone, printer/scanner/copier, paint...
I think there's 1 or 2 more things...
This computer is bad-ass.
It's the newest HP model, media edition..
It has cable jacks in the back, FM jacks, etc..
It came with a remote control, so I can chill on my bed and watch TV on my monitor.
You can also type in any movie/show, and it'll tell you any time and any channel it comes on for the next 2 weeks.
You can use it kinda like a tivo, too!
Set up to record any show, or everytime a show comes on, on any channel...
You could set it up to record every episode of something, then burn it onto a DVD and have your own season collection!
You can plug your VCR in, then burn home movies/VHS tapes onto DVD..
You can plug up a mic and plug-in your guitar and record...
I don't have a lot of it set up yet, and won't be until I finish painting my room..
It's awesome!
Caley was telling me last night how her friend's dad got crushed under a steamroller at work the other day.
Wow.
I thought that only happened in movies,
that whole thought leaves me in a weird mood...
That sucks.
I'm out!
I need comments like Ashlee Simpson needs to practice lip-syncing..
