Carmen nodded along. "Well, right I can imagine. Still this is really good." It was a shame that so many artists never got a chance to share their talents. "Hey," she started as an idea came to her. "My friend Sam was just named editor the school paper. I'm sure she could use like a comic strip or something." She hoped Sam wouldn't be mad at her for this suggestion.
Again, that look of pleased surprise returns. "Thanks." Her smile brightens a little, "Wow, it is a good day to be in your group of friends: one of you is editor of the schoolnewspaper and you're in the Glamazons. I'm impressed."
Her head tilts to the side as she considers, "And a comic strip would be really cool, though I've never really tried to write one before. If your friend wanted one, I'd be happy to try."
"We do seem to be running into some good luck." Carmen looked down at her watch. "Shoot, I have to get to my last class. It was nice meeting you Izzy, and if you're serious about the comic strip, I'll uh talk to Sam." She turned and looked at the girl expectantly.
Izzy glances up at the clock on the wall at the reminder of time and sighs. "Yeah, I should probably get to class, too." A smile, "And I'd really like that. Thank you, Carmen."
