i'm getting more and more excited for my house with dik. wes is gonna live with his parents, so it'll be just us. i absolutely love the living crap out of that man. such a good friend and an amazing person to live with. the townhouse we're getting is really cute, too. i'm excited to make it a home. i'm REALLY excited to be settled. the past few months have felt like limbo. it's been hard making this house feel like my house.
i finally went on an interview earlier this week. it was with a geotechnical engineering company. i was really excited, bc the interview went so well. i left feeling like i really had the job. one of the best parts about it was that i would get to do lab work and stuff so i knew the ropes, and the company was going to pay for me to go to school for engineering. but the owner emailed me yesterday morning, saying he offered the position to someone else. in the email, he said i was more qualified and the better person for the job. but i didn't get it bc i had said i wanted to put in two weeks at the spa, and he needed someone immediately. that really frustrated me. that job was mine, and i lost it bc i was trying to do the right thing. uggh. hopefully i get another interview soon.
halloween is coming up. i'm working on my costume, and i think it's pretty good. adam's is hilarious. i can't wait to post pictures. we have two parties to go to. should be a lot of fun.
