So, angsty post aside, BotCon went really well. (My angsty moment was while I was in the midst of a panic attack about my booth, which was, quite frankly, expected. I did fine, though!) I sold a ton of jewelry, and handed out most of my business cards, and I actually have received a commission from someone at BotCon! I sold all of my character-specific stuff except for the Constructicons bundle bracelet, and over all, netted $769. My booth made about $1500 total, so we did pretty damn awesome. :) The drive was ugh, though Harry Potter books one and two on CD made the drive bearable- sexy British gentleman reader is sexy! Tennessee tried to kill us, both on the ride down and back up, and I had a heat stroke in Disneyworld, and *still* have a skin rash from being out in the sun, even with SPF 50 sunscreen that I reapplied like a mad woman. Overall, it was fun, and I had a great time. Not so sure about Pasadena, but I'm sure I'll end up going- the dealer bug has bitten me full force, and I'm hoping I can do way better!
In news on the home front, I have *finally* had a break from Transformers stuff, and over the weekend, put together all of my stepsister's wedding jewelry, as commissioned.
Shiny link to the Etsy page, as I want others to be able to see I'm rather versatile. All of the pictures in my photobucket- I like the "artsy" shots the best, myself. I had a good time at Target picking up some new lamps and I have THREE daylight bulbs on my light tent and it is STILL looking a bit dark. :/ At least I resolved my yellow problem! Now to figure out how to brighten it up. It sure LOOKS bright in real life...
