As the title suggests, my eyes are hurting. They are watering and burning/stinging, probably turning square, too. I should go to sleep, but it feels wasteful. Samurai Champloo is a great show.

for us real die-hard emo fans, emo is defined by the famous line by our dear chris carrabba:
"This medicine is just what you deserve...swallow, choke, and die"

weezer is just geek rock and you feel bad for them because you think youz the man with all your emo "knowledge." however, they have an equal sad to happy song ratio, unlike the true emo bands which are hard core, i'm-gonna-kill-myself, i-carry-a-messenger-bag-with-pins-on-it, i-wear-black,-the-color-of-my-mourning-soul ALL THE WAY

No no no no no!
Dashboard and Weezer are both emo, they are just different sides of emo! Dashboard is more towards the indie side of emo, and weezer is more towards the geek punk side.
Weezer is most definetly emo because: (and i'll use what timur said here)
Of the song "undone" -angsty
Of the song "keep fishing"- the girl i love loves someone else
Of the song "kiddie pride" - i'm still a kid and no one understands me, and i have to clean my room

And if you still don't belive me, play their most recent album a few times

I don't feel bad for geek rockers, i just said that they can be emo too. You're the one whos not giving them a chance to show their emotional side.
