“You’re not buying anything?” Julie said concerned.
Koutarou spat angrily at the ground. “Nah. There is nothing in the whole world that I can give to that bastard without having to kill myself for doing it. He’s just too unsmart” He looked off to the inside of the mall as his combed his insanely smart hair. His attempted nonchalance failed to cover his frustration. Koutarou hated to lose.
Julie sighed, “You should at least buy him a gift card or something. ”
He scoffed “no way. I’m not giving him anything so unsmart! There’s no flair or style in a gift card.”
Julie puffed out her cheeks. Koutarou loved when she did that. “Well, we still need to shop for outfits maybe you luck out and find a belt or something.” She took the bag from the woman behind the counter and smiled at her politely,
He scoffed again, louder this time and turned to enter the mall again already knowing exactly what store they were going to. “Impossible! That guy is the king of unsmartness! The only he’s ever gotten right was playing football and he still manages to play it completely unsmartly!”
Julie raised a perfect eyebrow. “Koutarou, that sentence was horrible. ‘Completely unsmartly’? You really suck at talking.” Her hips swayed fluidly as her heels click, click, clicked on the title floor. Koutarou loved it.
“So? You know what I mean. ” He opened the door her. “Let’s just get some clothes alright?” His mood already better from the idea of non-Akaba related shopping.
Julie grinned a little. “ Yeah let’s! I’ve had my eye on this adorable red dress you’ll die when you see it! No joke!” He knew she was right. It was one of the ways he knew that regardless of her continuous rejections that she loved him. She always saved all the sexy outfits for when they shopped together.
She made her way straight to the dress and he went straight to the jeans. Jeans were some of Koutarou’s favorite things. The look, feel and smell of denim were just so smart. He had been meaning to buy some nice, tight boot cuts and this was the prefect excuse. He found the smartest pair and moved onto the shirts. He moved through the rows of racks, looking at every shirt critically. He was looking for the smartest shirt in the entire store, something that would make that bastard jealous. He picked three shirts and moved to the shoes. He knew exactly what he was looking for. Two-tones. He wanted some sleek two-toned oxfords, black with a pop of deep purple. He found them and any remnants of his bad mood were gone. He was completely euphoric and as he made he way to the changing rooms he remembered Julie’s sexy surprise and felt so smart he could hardly keep himself from dashing there. As he made the turn into the changing area he saw Julie slipping into a room to change, little red dress in hand, she looked at him over her shoulder and gives him a sly smile and wink. Koutarou nearly charged in there after her. Instead he went into his own changing room and started to undress. He buttoned up the first shirt and looked at the entire outfit critically picking out very flaw easily. This one wasn’t smart enough. He finally decided one the second shirt, a flashy black western button up with striking murky midnight blue piping and sexy decaling. He turned to open his door to see a pair of boots under the bottom of it. Koutarou grinned and opened his door to see Julie in her sexy little dress grinning devilishly.
“Trying to seek a peek?” koutarou grinned.
Julie smiled and leaned forward touching his chest. “Maybe” she giggled and rushed over to the mirror area. Koutarou grinned and followed.
Julie’s outfit was mind-numbingly smart. Instead of her signature shades she had a silky black with white polka dot scarf headband and a pair of gold hoop earrings. The dress was in fact, to die for. It was a sultry scarlet red sleeveless a-line. The keyhole neckline gave him just the slightest teasing glance of skin and the waistband was thick and fitted perfectly over her natural waist. The skirt of the dress ended just a few inches above the knee leaving her prefect knees exposed. Koutarou swollowed hard, it was like he was seeing her prefect body for the first time. The finishing touch was her kittenish blue suede go-go boots with a playful excess of fabric that created soft folds at her ankles.
“You look so incredibly smart” He said as he moved to her side, placing a hand smartly on her hip.
Julie giggled sweetly and placed a hand on his chest. “Well you don’t look half bad yourself Kou!” He grinned and kisses the top of her head. Julie blushed furiously and hastily made her way back into her dressing room. “Koutarou!”
He laughed and returned to his room and quickly changed back into regular clothes. They bought their clothes and made their way back home. After seeing her safely home Koutarou laid on his bed and thought about darkly about the party. It was bound to be full of all Akaba’s weirdo music friends and totally unsmart stuff. He turned onto his side. Still, even with the weird stuff he could see Akaba there sitting coolly in the middle of the room, his stylish red shirt slightly open to show some skin and an unsmart necklace. One of his long black-clad legs elegantly placed on top of the other showing his glistening black Beatles boot. How when Koutarou entered the room with Julie on his arm Akaba would turn to look at them with an aloof, burning look in his eyes that sent a icy shudder down Koutarou’s spine because he knew exactly what it mind, so did Julie. He wanted them and Koutarou knew that there was no way either of them would say no. Koutarou was glad that Akaba wore such opaque shades because Koutarou knew that he was looking at him like that all the time. Everything he thought about that look he couldn’t think, he couldn’t kick all he could do was wait for the touches that would never come because no matter how much Akaba looked he never touched. It pissed him off so much; he couldn’t understand how Akaba could be content with just looking. Koutarou wasn’t, but what little self-preservation instincts he had told him that touching Akaba is that way would unleash the suffocating passion onto him; something he wasn’t ready for. He saw Akaba’s smirk, his thin lips mocking Koutarou. He turned to his other side. Trying to get Akaba’s scary ass eyes out his head so he could sleep.

When the day of the party came Koutarou made absolutely sure that he looked prefect. When he was satisfied with his work he made he way to Julie’s and together they made their way to the party.
It was exactly the way Koutarou thought it would be. The whole place was
Ultra modern, minimal seating and sleek lines, dim red lights places sporadically all over the ceiling, thick black, white and red lines on the limits of the space making it hard to see where the floor ended and the walls started. An incredibly unsmart place. Akaba sat at the center of the room on a low black couch slowly sipping a drink; it was obvious he had been watching the door the entire time, waiting for them. Julie gripped Koutarou arm tighter as she met eyes with him. Koutarou placed his hand on hers and smiled at her before starting their descent down the stairs and over to Akaba.
Julie let go of Koutarou and sat down next to Akaba while hugging him“ Happy Birthday Akaba! Here’s your present!” She grinned girlishly as she handed him her gift.
He smiled slightly at her his hands lingering at her waist a second too long “thank you Julie. Your capriccio is as refreshing as always” Julie laughed and leaned into him gently.
Koutarou sat on the opposite side of Akaba knowing that he would like that as seeing as Koutarou was basically an invited gate crasher. Akaba moved so that he was able to comfortably look at both of them, he gave Koutarou a sideways glance appraising him critically. Koutarou spread his legs out in front of him.
He took out his comb working it through his hair with smart skill. “Happy birthday bastard. I didn’t get you anything, it was just too unsmart.” Koutarou looked at him square in the eye, defiant, something he immediately regretted it when he saw the look in Akaba’s eyes. They were dark, stormy and dangerous, pierced right through him; impaling him to the couch and he knew that today was the day that Akaba would start touching. Julie sensed it too, how Akaba’s usually cool air now had a burning edge to it.
“Fuu~ what a dissonant accompaniment you are…” Akaba slowly, casually threw his arms over their shoulders gently pulling them closer to him. Covertly chaining them to his side for the entire night. As the night went on no one came to talk to the trio, subconsciously sensing the thick atmosphere. Julie took Akaba’s behavior in stride, as if she had already been prepared for this to happen (she probably had) and was just happy to be with him. Koutarou however was feeling more and more stifled the longer and longer he sat there. He soon came to the point where if he sat in that unsmart room with its unsmart music next to that unsmart guy he would scream.
“I’m going to get some fresh air this place is way too unsmart” Koutarou got up quickly and unconsciously stretched his legs. It was times like this that Julie want to strangle him, he seemed to have no idea that what his just said set Akaba off now what might have some light, affectionate touches were now bound to be some serious heavy petting and she was sure that Koutarou wasn’t ready for that. He was such a romantic snot-nosed brat that there was no way he’d be able to just go with the flow which would only make things worse. She sighed and resigned herself to what was bound to happen.
Koutarou quickly left the building and stood out on the somewhat empty sidewalk. Surprised by how vacant the streets where he looked around for a clock, 11:05. Damn, he didn’t think it had been that long. That freaky ass room was like a separate world he just couldn’t stand he felt like he was trapped in the bowls of hell. But still, Akaba had looked good in the harsh unsmart lines of the room. In fact, he was the only thing that looked good in there. It was such an unsmart place that at first he didn’t think it was possible for anything to look good in there. Koutarou sighed and stretched his long, lean legs, enjoying the feel of muscles tightening and loosing. He loved his legs, he loved the feel of moving them, he loved the look of them; next to his hair they were his favorite part of his body. When Akaba came out of the club Koutarou didn’t notice, lost in his reverie. He did, however, notice when Akaba came up behind him and held his torso and placed his leg very unsmartly between Koutarou’s legs.
“Damn it bastard! We’re outside! How unsmart can you get!?” Koutarou struggle a little against him.
“ Fuu~ is that all you’re worried about? Such deceptive cadences have never been your choice of finale or have I been fooled?” he smiled into Koutarou’s neck as he led the boy into the club’s largest stall. “No matter the expressionism of your harmony have been far too moving tonight I’m afraid at we’re simply going to have to skip the exposition and get straight to the climax…”
Koutarou put his hands on Akaba’s waist and pushed, not hard but enough to move him far enough away so that he could breathe and think. Akaba could easily move back and continue his ministrations. “Wait! What? You’re not making any sense! You’re so completely unsmart I have not idea what you’re saying! Speak like a nor--” which he did.
Akaba’s hands moved all over Koutarou’s body as he kissed Koutarou all down is face and neck. Koutarou struggled at first, wanting to be the one on top instead of on bottom, but he soon melted into Akaba’s kisses and pulled the other boy closer leaving absolutely no space between them. Koutarou moaned and forced Akaba’s mouth back to his, wanting to kiss him instead of bearing all the unsmart stuff Akaba was doing. Akaba grinned and pulled back just enough so that they could look at each other’s faces comfortably.
“Fuu~ I’ll consider that my birthday present.” Akaba grinned arrogantly and for once, it didn’t piss Koutarou off.
The boys headed back into the party and to their places on the couch with Julie, each one of them with a big smile on their face. Akaba once again placed his arms around them and this time both of them leaned comfortably against him.
“Fuu~ I’m glad I was born”
“Lame”
“Shut up.”
PFFT. I HOPE IT DIDN'T MAKE YOU VOMIT. I HAD SOMETHING I WANTED TO SAY BUT I CAN'T REMEMBER WHAT IT WAS...OTL
