More than BoA did, I was actually introduced to Miura Daichi from The Answer on DJ KAORI'S JMIX IV and was off my face over The Answer for most of the first half of this year (not a 2011 release so can't make my 2011 ranking though ^^;;). I'm not really big on a lot of his songs because the arrangements can feel a bit messy the way synth is used, or just gives me an old school vibe. But this album has picked it up A LOT. This man is one of the hidden gems of Jpop and I'm so happy to have discovered some really good tracks here, geared towards R&B dance, with more polished arrangements. Apart from The Answer, I super love Only You, 4am, RUN WAY, SHOUT IT and Lullaby. I do hope some of you will check out this album and watch some of his clips and maybe also discover, like I did, what a hidden talent he is. I would not hesitate for a moment in naming him the most talented singer-dancer in Jpop. He just needs the right musical formula to really shine. <3
