★ NEWS (album) (DVD & perfs)
FINALLY HAVE THIS AFTER BEING IN A LIMBO WITH FEDEX ARGH should've had it yesterday! (Also this will be my last post before going to China, but I do hope I can butt in with a post or two during my time away. XD Be nice to Ria as she handles popsicalove alone~)
Released on their 7th anniversary yesterday, NEWS' album comes in two editions. As always, the RE has two additional tracks, but for the first time we get a very special DVD with the LE! Unplugged LIVE recording was done especially for this album, which includes behind-the-scenes and making of between each of the four performances. Apart from the two previously released singles, Koi no ABO and Sakura Girl, the album also has BE FUNKY! from Kato Shigeaki's drama "Troubleman", a studio version of Share, and an unplugged version of Forever (from the previous album), which we see a bit of video for during the DVD credits. ♥GReeeeN♥ also wrote LIVE, which is my fav out of the new tracks! The DVD is absolutely priceless. Not only are the performances incredibly beautiful, but the making of between each performance is kind of hilarious and really makes you smile. Ryo shows his shadow boss character, and he's generally really happy and high all throughout. :P He cracked me up so many times~ :D The little things... like Ryo singing about his outfit being too big to the tune of SNOW EXPRESS were WIN.
Regarding the DVD. I will post the full, uncompressed DVD raw .vob version (over 2GB) in a few days. I saw a .vob version shared earlier today, and I'll post mine after that post becomes locked. UPDATE: .vob links now up! The full .avi version is the highest quality behind the massive .vob file. The .avi cuts are a step down. The .mp4 cuts are purposefully the smallest in size.
Random: The booklet in the LE edition has the "NEWS new single coming soon" sign. ;)
