This is the best-of compilation album from the gorgeous and incredibly musically talented Hirahara Ayaka. Seriously, this is one of my very favourite Japanese albums everrr~ <3 She burst onto the Japanese music scene in 2003 with Jupiter, which sold just over 6000 copies in its opening week but then went on to sell almost a million copies, finishing as the third highest selling single of 2003. When you listen to it, you'll understand how it captivated Japan. It gave me goosebumps when I first heard it and I'll be the first to admit that I sometimes get teary when listening to it. Jupiter is a timeless classic and it should always be remembered. Much of Ayaka's music is very much classically influenced and occasionally she reworks classical compositions, so her music is by no means any form of your typical ballad or anything. This compilation is absolutely stunning. Her music is just so beautiful and inspiring. This album is a real gem. Dropped the PV and some performances of Jupiter in as well, because it's really such a masterpiece. Also standouts from the album for me are Chikai, BLESSING Shukufuku and mama (Orchestra Version). n_n
