★ SS501 (mini album)

Due to leaks (in the form of radio rips), this mini album (WHY DSP YOU GIVE US A MINI ALBUM AND NOT AN ALBUM?!?! aksjdhasdhasdjnvljf) was released online ahead of the physical release date (27th). Let Me Be The One is a mid-tempo, moody, R&B track. Love Ya is a powerful title track with great use of strings, while Crazy 4 U is a more generic dance song. To balance things out, we have Forever (or "Until Forever"), a ballad with lyrics penned by Youngsaeng. Actually some of the instrumental track for Love Ya reminds me of Destiny Child's Survivor... (that said, CRAZY 4 U also reminds me a lot of SHINee's Jo Jo. XD) @_@ This is a really good mini album of high quality, with a team of big names behind the composition and production, but I guess I'm still unable to jump all over it because the tracks are great with or without SS501 whereas my past favs have all been undoubtedly brilliant BECAUSE of the boys and I couldn't imagine anyone else singing them ever. However this is still highly recommended!
