I usually do 20 for a year, but I had such difficulty with my list that I just decided to make it 25. My time range is actually 2007 December-ish to 2008 November-ish though. No Cpop songs this year. :( Sorry for the length.

01 NEWS - 永遠色の恋 (Towairo no Koi) → NEWS fans will know that this song has been performed before. But when I heard the studio version I just died inside. The verses are so beautiful I still feel like crying everytime.
02 Big Bang - 하루 하루 (Haru Haru) → Picking #2 was REALLY tough. Ended up choosing this over #3 because I really love the piano. My friend pointed out how it has the same chords as Lies which may explain why I love it so much. GD you are my hero!
03 SS501 - 널 부르는 노래 + Remix Version (Song Calling For You) → Gets prize for most addictive and catchy song of the year! La la la la la~ Again, SS501 come up with something new, interesting and of course, DARN HARD TO STOP LISTENING TO. Loop-worthy. (Wouldn't it be fun to play some of the instruments/whatever from this song? Mario "PYON!")
04 Utada Hikaru - Prisoner of Love → Hikki's voice makes this song. It's so beautifully spooky.
05 NEWS - Snow Express → Live is better but nonetheless deserves a "ILU" sticker! Love the instrumental and Yamapi's rap is my highlight. :D
06 Utada Hikaru - Eternally (Drama Mix) → Really beautiful ballad. ;__;
07 THSK - Love in the Ice + DBSK - Love in the Ice → Really well sung and a stunning ballad. <3
08 SHINee - 산소 같은 너 (Love like Oxygen) (You're Like Oxygen) → LOVE THE BEAT - so addicting. Also really great choreo.
09 NEWS - バンビーナ (Bambina) → Even without the ero lyrics, it screams HOT. Techno techno techno~ :D
10 Big Bang - Number 1 → Get your friend, divide the parts up and sing this song. I promise you there isn't anything more fun than GD/TOP-rapping, TaeYang singing and "jump"-ing. Their English is impressive!
11 Ayumi Hamasaki - HEAVEN x DAISHI DANCE → Fav remix of my fav song. Wow. :D The violin is beautiful and it's got a great dance beat. Surprisingly all fits together well.
12 SHINee - 누난 너무 예뻐 (Replay) (Noona Is So Pretty) → Again, the beat is ridiculous catchy and cute. It's SHINee's debut, so it's special because of that. The dance is also ftw.
13 THSK - どうして君を好きになってしまったんだろう？ (Doushite Kimi wo Suki ni Natte shimattan darou?) → Nice to sing along to... love the instrumentals. ^^
14 Arashi - truth → It's hard to explain why I like this song. It's very different. The performances are also really cool. ^^;; Highest selling single of 2008.
15 THSK - Darkness Eyes → Hard to describe. I like the background orchestra, the beat, and the bass-y feel.
16 EXILE - Lovers Again -Orchestra Version- → Prefer the original but still an amazing pop ballad.
17 Battle - Step By Step → TECHNO. Great song! Fell in love with it even more after I watched the performances... gosh they've improved so much there isn't even a comparison anymore!!!
18 SHINee - 아.미.고 (AMIGO) → "COLD HEART BABY" Again, the beat to this song owns. All three SHINee songs have been my favs because I love the beat!
19 SMASH - Seeing You → Amazingly beautiful... echo-y and so relaxing to listen to. <3
20 Arashi - One Love → Cheesy love song~ *sighs* ^^
21 Namie Amuro - What A Feeling → Your feet starts tapping and you start singing along all too easily.
22 Younha - Hero → Super catchy rock pop track... one of her best, I think!
23 Shinhwa - Last Train Home + Voyage → It's actually the intro Last Train Home that I love the most. Leads perfectly into Voyage so I'm including both since I can't just post a song with no singing. ^^
24 PDIS - 끌려 (Pull ft May Doni) → Original mix. Can't wait for May Doni's official debut! This girl is made of awesome.
25 SS501 - 넌 나의 천국 (You Are My Heaven) → Very happy, cute, catchy song. "Saranghae saranghae saranghae~ x 29384" fastforward is my highlight. :)
OTHER
Kanjani8 - BJ & Kanjani8 - fuka-fuka Love the Earth → Can't help adding these two. Couldn't decide which I liked more, and 25 tracks is really quite enough. But these were highlights of 2008 for me and even better watching them perform it. You either love or hate. Take a risk if you're up for it~ XD
