Help Needed
Most of you know that I am very involved with a motorcycle organization, ABATE. In fact, this year, I am the President of our district. This last weekend, we took on an very ambitious event for the March of Dimes. Due to a lot of circumstances, including some poor planning on the part of my committee and my failure to maintain absolute control over the details, the event failed to meet expenses. The event itself went very well and honestly I couldn't be prouder of the teamwork during the event. This rally did not fail for lack of trying. Unfortunately, trying doesn't mean succeeding.
We must come up with more money to cover these expenses. It is critical to the survival of my organization. Its a good group that has done so much good for our community, for charities, for injured bikers and for biker's rights. I am willing to do whatever is needed to help save my district.
To that effort, I am offering event t-shirts for sale at 12.00 each. This price includes shipping to you. We are a 501c3 organization, so the purchase or any donation at all is tax deductible. I will happily provide you with a tax receipt for any purchase or donation.
The shirts are black with the attached logo printed on the center front. On the back, printed in white are our business sponsors. The shirts are available in Adult Sizes small through xxx-large.
I can't tell you how hard this is for me to do. I can't tell you how much it would mean to me if you are able to help us out. And if you aren't interested, I completely understand. Either way, I appreciate any good thoughts, any ideas... pretty much anything.
