What do *you* have in common with millions of Japanese Housewives?
Apparently 'blogging' or web-logging is very popular in Japan with housewives. Kanako says that her mother is very excited to start her own 'blog' and reads others regularly. Kanako is very glad that her mother has no idea how to start one, as they typically contain all sorts of personal (read embarrassing) information about the family of the housewife in question. Hopefully Kanako will be here in LA before she figures it out.
Still, I find the whole thing very amusing (probably 'cause it's not my mom), and it fills me with a warm happy-otaku feeling to know that my future mother-in-law is so geeky.
