bright sun shining day
It's a beautiful day out, 60 degrees and sunny. I'm so happy for the turn in the weather, as I've developed an affection for the outdoors since last summer. I spent five weeks in Germany and the majority of it out in the sun, so I can hardly wait for my laundry to be done so I can grab a pair of jeans and take the dog for a walk... poor puppy needs it.
I wondered when it would start to warm up, I've seen robins fluttering all over the place since the last snow melted away and just the other evening I thought I could hear the familiar honk of Canadian geese, no doubt returning home for the Spring and Summer. Can't wait until it warms up just a bit more, then I can borrow my sister's bike and get some much needed exercise. Need to quell that embarrassing habit of imitating the ipod commercials whilst doing the dishes...
Been busy today. My boss cut my hours at work, so now I have Thursday and Fridays off. It's a mixed blessing. I won't have as much money coming in, but at least now I have the time to finish painting my room and search for a better job. Plus, it means I have time to get my eyebrows and hair done, which is good because I haven't had them groomed since last November.
Not much else going on. Waiting for my laundry to be done so I can fold it, get dressed and take the dog for a walk. Waiting for the spackle on my wall to dry so I can sand it. Waiting for Dad to get home so he can show me how to fill in the cracks where the ceiling meets the wall. Waiting for the stylist to call me back about my appointment. Just doing a lot of waiting.
Maybe I'll doodle up a comic. About Waiting. :/
